WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) – It was all heads on deck on Sunday morning as KAKE employees teamed up with the Bull Attorneys to collect toys for kids in need.
People stopped by the Toy Mountain Toy Drive on Sunday morning in northeast Wichita to drop off unused toys and shred any sensitive documents for free.
The Bull Attorneys say this annual event means a lot to them.
“We like doing this because it helps the community and there’s a lot of people, believe it or not, that are still at the poverty line and really need the toys for their kids who don’t get anything,” said Brad Pistontnik, Bull Attorneys CEO.
“It’s great. You can’t believe how many people show up just to drop their toys off. They’re not even getting their documents shredded,” added Tony Atterbury, President of Bull Attorneys.
If you missed this event, you can join KAKE and the Bull Attorneys on Monday from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the KAKE studios, 1500 N. West Street.
The first 50 cars to donate toys will each receive a copy of KAKE’s book, “A Home for KAKEman.”
