The attorneys for the family of Gilgo Beach murders suspect Rex Heuermann will be providing an update on the family’s status this afternoon.
Lawyers for Heuermann’s wife, Asa Ellerup, and the lawyer for his children Victoria Heuermann and Christopher Sheridan say they are going to show never-before-seen photos of the Heuermann household.
Ellerup’s attorney says the family found their Massapequa Park home in total disarray and belongings scattered on the floor as investigators scoured for evidence.
As News 12 has reported, Heuermann’s wife, Asa Ellerup filed for divorce days after her husband was arrested.
Meanwhile, News 12 sat down for an interview with the attorney representing the children who says their lives have been turned upside down since their father was arrested.
Heuermann has been charged with the murders of three women in the Gilgo Beach investigation.
He pleaded not guilty to all charges.
The press conference is set for 2 p.m.
