1 Dead, Motorcycle Crash at Arlington Avenue in Riverside

RIVERSIDE, CA (September 1, 2023) — A 29-year-old died in a motorcycle accident at Arlington Avenue at Rutland Avenue.

According to Riverside police officers, the fatal motorcycle crash happened around 7:50 p.m. Tuesday. Under unclear circumstances, a westbound motorcyclist on Arlington Avenue collided with a vehicle driven by an on-duty Riverside County District attorney’s investigator.

As a result of the accident, the motorcyclist passed away.

In the investigation, authorities learned that the attorney’s investigator was turning left into a driveway on Arlington Avenue at the time of the collision.

It appears speed might have played a part in contributing to the fatal accident. However, officials will look into the details.
