42-Year-Old Man Dies after Struck by Sedan at Old Elsinore Road and San Jacinto

PERRIS, CA (August 14, 2023) – Alberto Andrade was killed in a pedestrian accident at Old Elsinore Road and San Jacinto Avenue in Perris on Thursday evening.

The fatal accident happened around 7:40 p.m. on August 10. According to the California Highway Patrol, Andrade was walking along the street when a sedan struck him.

The driver of the sedan immediately stopped and called 911.

Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department paramedics arrived soon after and rendered aid.

Sadly, Andrade did not survive and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was a 42-year-old Perris man.

CHP officers questioned the involved driver but did not arrest them.

An investigation into this fatality is ongoing.
