California attorney General Rob Bonta made a visit to the valley Saturday to speak out against hate.
FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — California attorney General Rob Bonta made a visit to the valley Saturday to speak out against hate.
Bonta was the keynote speaker at the United Against Hate forum that was held at Fresno City College.
Organizers say the forum aims to bring together “Stop the Hate” coalition organizations and FCC students to expand the work of stopping hate.
Bonta says community involvement can help bring awareness on how to stop hate.
“When we think more about ‘us and we’ instead of ‘I and me’, we realize the only way forward is together,” Bonta said.
People in attendance received bumper stickers with the message “Stop the Hate, Be the Love.”
This event is being organized by the Stop the Hate coalition.
