WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — The attorney for Tracy Ferriter — the mother who’s accused of locking her adopted son in a box in the garage appeared in court on Friday — has requested to withdraw herself from the case.

The attorney told the judge there are “irreconcilable differences.”

The judge granted the attorney‘s motion to withdraw as counsel.

Ferriter now has 10 days to hire a new attorney.

No trial date has been set for Tracy Ferriter, but the judge did say he intends to move forward with a January trial date.

Tracy is being tried separately from her husband Timothy Ferriter, who was found guilty last month of abusing their adopted son. Timothy was sentenced to five years in prison, plus five years probation.
